谈逸凡 (Yi-Fan Tan)

Yi-Fan was born in Guangdong province, China in 2003. He has been highly interested in chemistry since junior high school and won several awards in Chemistry Olympiad in high school. During that period, Yi-Fan found his interest in organic chemistry and joined the Jiao group in 2022 as an undergraduate student. He is now working on the synethetic applications of the cooperative cycloolefin ligands in the Catellani-type reactions. In 2025 he received Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis Award from both Tsinghua University and Tsinghua Xuetang Talent Program, and in September he started his research in the Jiao group as a graduate student.
